課程概述

Title of the Course: An Analysis of he Written Japanese Syntax

Course Curriculum/Objectives:
1.Graduate students will identify grammatical problems within diversified Japanese sentences featuring various writing styles, and will learn how to solve issues, analyze and correctly rewrite sentences.
2.Students will learn how to select, from featured issues, topics for their term paper, and will learn how to write short articles and short thesis.
3.Identifying grammatical problems in sentences includes identifying issues involved with double subjects and topicalization, sub-categorization and word order, differences between adjective clauses and adverb clause, direct discourse and indirect discourse, and other topics.
4.Identifying] problems in writings includes learning diverse writing styles and according to each stylistic format, learn how to construct paragraphs and choose appropriate vocabulary.
5.Class will be comprised of a lecture format which] is half of the course, will followed by exercises, discussion, and re-writing process.
6.Class materials consists of a textbook presenting contents stated in the objectives, and exercise sheets in addition to hand-outs with outlined examples of sentences and writings featuring topics and issues as stated in the objectives.
7.Evaluations will be made based on a mid-term examination(1/4), a final examination(1/4), class participation(1/4), and a term paper(1/4).



課程名稱:日語文章論
課程指導要領、目標:
1.提出不同種類文章中文法的相關問題,並加以分析、研究,學習正確的寫作方法。
2.從上述提出的問題中選擇題目,分析問題點、書寫小論文。
3.授課內容包含文法上的各種問題,例如:關於二重主格•主語以及主題化的問題;語順以及副範圍化;連體修飾節和副詞節的差異,以及其與被修飾語的意義關係;直接論述和間接論述的寫作方法,以及其所產生的問題。
4.學習如何書寫不同種類的文章,以及何時該選擇哪種適當的語彙,如何有效地架構文章的段落,如何將段落彙整做出結論。
5.課堂中第一個小時由教師授課,第二小時進行討論、提問、回答、練習相關內容的問題和習作。
6.課堂使用參考文獻、與內容相關之資料、入門範例與文章、教科書、練習題等。
7.成績評量:期中考25%,期末考25%,課堂參與及上課態度25%,學期小論文25%。
